Heather & Neil - Dunfermline Abbey & Norton House Hotel

Well the weather almost held out on Saturday for Heather and Neil. A few showers in the morning that looked as if they had cleared up for Heather's arrival at Dunfermline Abbey, but as she arrived the heavens opened and I got very wet!

Apart from this slight mishap, Heather and Neil had a great day. I have all the photographs uploaded to the website, if you would like the password to view them please contact me.

Triona & Paul - Holy Family Church Dunblane & Cromlix House Hotel

You know your going to have a good day when the father of the bride puts a glass of Dom Perignon in your hand at 11.30am! In fact it was a great day.

Triona = Irish
Paul = Scottish
Home = Holland
Wedding = Huge

A large Irish contingent from Triona's family and friends had made the trip to Scotland, mix this in with many Dutch and other guests from all over Europe and you begin to understand the continental feel of their wedding day. It was a truly wonderful day, full of emotion and fun.

Nick

We just wanted to say a huge thank .....

I received this email from Kara and Iain whose wedding I photographed a few weeks ago at Roman Camp Hotel.

Hi Nick,

Hope this finds you well. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the quite incredible photos you took at our wedding. They really are out of this world and we're absolutely delighted with them. We had the most amazing day and the photos captured it all perfectly. To cap it all, lots of people have said they'd no idea you were actually there. That's a good thing, right!?

Anyway, once again, thanks so much again. You are clearly very talented.

All the best, Iain and Kara.

It was a great day with Kara and Iain, they and all their family and guests had an absolute ball.

Valerie & Steve - House For An Art Lover

Apparently all Steve had to organise for their wedding day was the weather, well he couldn't have got it better. It was simply glorious, a lovely hot Sunday afternoon in Glasgow.

Dario & Brenda - St Andrews Church West Linton & The Point Hotel Edinburgh

Hopefully the weekends weather wasn't our summer over and done with, but it certainly was lovely and warm for Brenda and Dario's wedding on Saturday.
West Linton is a gorgeous little village with St Andrews Church right in the middle beside the village green. Brenda had organised an ice cream seller to arrive whilst the ceremony was going on so when they left the church everybody had ice cream to help cool them down.
Their reception was at the Point Hotel in central Edinburgh which has outstanding views looking towards the castle, the North of the city and beyond to Fife in the distance. They used the penthouse for there evening reception which was kicked off with the Bride and Groom performing a very well rehearsed first dance.

It was a great day and a pleasure to be involved with.

Alison & Chris / Ardanaiseig Hotel

Last Thursday I was back at Ardanaiseig Hotel for the wedding of Alison & Chris. This was a small ceremony with only close friends and family present, ideally suited for this lovely venue.
The lovely weather we have been experiencing over the weekend hadn't quite arrived by Thursday, so the ceremony was held in the hotel. The rain did lighten off later in the afternoon that allowed us outdoors for some moody portraits over looking Loch Awe.
